New External Stacks

There are chimneys which run up the wall of the building. Either the original chimney is too damaged to use, line or repair so an external stack is installed as a replacement. Support guides and brackets mount into the masonry of the building exterior to secure the stack in place.

Typically this is a double wall insulated stainless steel stack. The reason for the insulation is so the external portion of the chimney is not hot to the touch. Scaffolding is typically needed to access the entire run of the building for the install. In many cases we are replacing and existing stack and in that case depending upon the setup at your building we may be able to install the new stack before removing the old. This is a bonus for the building because the tenants will not be affected and the building will have no issue with heat during the installation.
